Tracking State Legislation

Are you interested in finding out more about legislation facing the 52nd Legislature.  (2009).  To see the status of current legislation that ONA is following click on the following links.  There are several lists that have been developed for your use.  The legislation that is most important to ONA will be found on its priority list, however you may find legislation that is of interest to you on the other lists.  Throughout the Legislative Session a bill may move to the priority list depending on action taken, intent or amendments. House bills start with HB and Senate bills start with SB. 

The links below are updated daily and showing the most recent action,  which is reflected by the status date.  The bill numbers are hyperlinked to the most recent version of the bill. Initially all bills will reflect "introduced" and as they work though the process this status will change.  When it is passed out by the house of origin it will be "engrossed", however if it has been heard in committee then it may be a "committee substitute" or "committee version".  Once the opposite house has passed the bill then it will be "enrolled".
